Living An Excellent Lifestyle

Sunday, February 20th, 2005

A log of people think that it does not pay to live a pure, moral and godly life. Surrounded by people walking on the ‘wild’ side of life who seem to be ‘getting away’ with it, the often don’t see any advantages.

But it’s not true.

leading a morally reckless life is like trying to cross a stream on a slippery, moss-covered rocks. You may keep your balance for the first few steps but before long most people eventually slip and fall into the water.

Where in life are you stepping on slippery rocks?

Maybe the greatest danger is not the exposure, embarrassment or broken-ness of a moral failure, it is the chance you may get away with it and take your secret life of sin to the grave. God promises a day or reckoning. Don’t regret your moral choices for eternity. Deal with you pile of sin by laying it at the foot of Jesus’ blood stained cross and start making your choices on God’s high moral ground.
