BCA – Bush Church Aid

BCA’s ministry area covers 25% of Australia. It is directed toward the
isolated, remote urban and rural people of Australia.

Give thanks for the 28 ministry centres around Australia that BCA is
staffing.

Howells Update

AFES Staff worker at Wollongong University.

Praise God for :-
God’s support for Amanda during 2006 at the Uni. And with Drugarm; The
student’s that will take God’s Word back to their homelands; The ability
to reach out to students at Wollongong Uni.
Pray for :-
The mission to Wild St. Church in Maroubra (early Dec); The staff
leaving and replacements for 2007; Amanda & Simon as they prepare for
marriage.
The Global Impact team.
Leader – Ron Litchfield Members – Peter Crossing, Meghan Gold,
Stephen Reid, Stephen Semenchuk, Helen Stephens & Phillip Weston.
Pray:-
That God’s Spirit will guide the team in all it’s decision making; That
we will continue to support ministry beyond our parish boundary; That
we will share our spiritual and material resources with those in need;
That we will be fully supportive of our nominated missionaries.

Chin Update

Chin

Richard is the National Director of Australian Fellowship of Evangelical
Students’ (AFES).
Their children are Thomas, Grace, Naomi and Rachel.

AFES’s objective is to reach all university students with the Gospel of
Christ.
Richard is responsible for 120 staff on 50 university campuses.

Praise God for:-
The students saved during 2006; Transforming many lives on campus to
grow more in the image of Jesus; The godly staff that Richard works with
on campus.
Pray for :-
Many to be saved through the missions during National Training Event
(early Dec.); Those graduating live and work in a manner worthy of the
gospel; Richard and the family to have a refreshing holiday (late Dec.);
Adequate staffing and support for 2007; Many new students will join the
fellowship on campus during 2007.

Charles Update

Charles

Missionaries serving with the Church Missionary Society in Santiago,
Chile.
Michael and Jo have four children, Samuel, Caleb, Emma and Lola.

Michael trains Anglican Church leaders in the Centre for Pastoral
Studies (CEP), Santiago.
Michael and Jo also serve in their local church/community.
Praise God for :-
Three years of dedication and commitment to ministry in Chile by
Michael, Jo and family; The new ministers they have trained for the
Gospel outreach in Chile; The ongoing success of CEP and the expansion
of its ministry.
Pray for :-
The Charles family as they return to Sydney for deputation work,
training, presentations at CMS Summer School and a time to meet with
their extended family and friends; The children as they settle into an
Australian school for the duration of their stay here; The provision
of their needs (home, car etc) during their time back home.
