Prayer Points – Michael & Jo Charles
Dear Friends,
We mentioned in a previous prayer letter/prayer request that we have been looking at housing options. We are now at a point where we will need to move house within a couple of weeks. We are awaiting notification of an option for an apartment that we feel would be best for us all-round. Please pray that God would move hearts to look favourably on us and allow us to move within the time we have left, without it getting exceedingly stressful (!) Please pray that we will trust in God’s goodness and be content with whatever He supplies, knowing that we need not worry because He is in control. [We were encouraged by this morning's reading and sermon at church, where Hagar and Ishmael are dying of thirst in the wilderness and God speaks to Hagar saying, "What troubles you Hagar? (!!!) Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the boy from where he is." (exclamation marks mine) Genesis 21:8-21]
Praise God that our church situation appears resolved, though we haven’t yet been able to speak with the Bishop (it appears that we won’t move church).
