Our wait is over!
Since 30th Oct. 2006 we have impatiently waited for this day. And now it is here… our building plans are approved and out of Council!
Last week we secured the deed for the land from the Dept of Education as our purchase settled and the Preschool has been re-licensed for the next 3 years!
The first things we will be doing are:
By the new year we will be ready to start the new preschool and the connecting foyer area! That construction will take around 4 months leaving us with a brand new preschool, the administration area, the connecting foyer area and a new opening into the existing auditorium!

The sun settled over the escarpment and the sound of monster trucks reverberated through the church centre. A special moment in our church life had arrived.
Last Saturday Night was so much more than some of our people providing security parking and raising $469.15. It was so much more than a number of our families coming together and enjoying the view (there has to be some benefit to the Showground tearing down all their trees).
Last Saturday night was a community moment. The atmosphere was magic! People from the community wandered in and mingled with our church family who were generous and gregarious. Everyone was welcomed, needs were met and lots of people expressed their appreciation.
Last Saturday was another day when Dapto Anglican Church built community. Roll on the Holiday Club!

A man from the Old Testament had his family, health and wealth torn out of his hand. At that time of great anguish even his friends turned on him and verbally attacked him. The man’s name was Job. In Job 19:23-26 his response is recorded. He wanted the following words inscribed on a rock.
I know my redeemer lives and that in the end He will stand upon the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God.
Many of us are feeling like times are tough. What words would we inscribe on our rock? For me it’s knowing that Jesus loves me, forgives me, saves me and is there for me eternally. Once I get that straight I realise the most important thing I can do is share those truths with others.
