A Christmas to Remember

Hair Spraying

Christmas

A time where the kids are on holidays and families are excited to do events together.

Christmas

A time that the wider community is open to hearing about who Jesus is and what the message of Christmas has to do with them.

Christmas

A great time for YOU to build bridges with your neighbours and friends and invite them to our Church events.

What happens when they come to Carnivalè Christmas?
Firstly, your friends choose a day and time that is best for them.

Sunday 23rd Dec – 5pm or 6:30pm?
OR
Monday 24th Dec – 5pm or 6:30pm?

When you turn up together, you will be invited to join our Carnival on the Grass. A carnival that shows the Biblical Christmas story including a Live Nativity, lots of interactive activities including Dunk the Minister, many displays to look at including; Performers and Clowns, all FREE events like Face Painting, Football Passing Competition and Hair spraying and food and drink for only $1 per item including Fairy Floss, Lolly Bags and Café.

Face PaintingAfter about an hour at the Carnival, everyone will be invited into our Church auditorium to see a retelling of the Christmas Story through the use of familiar music. ALL children involved in our Children’s Ministry have been invited to perform at this Christmas event. A feature of this presentation will be the opportunity to join in singing the classic Christian Carols.

When the presentation has finished, everyone will walk down to our Youth Hall to get a free family photo to commemorate the event. As they leave our site they will receive a free sample bag, full of brochures of the different ministries run at Dapto Anglican Church.

FireworksWhat do you do afterwards?

  1. Invite your neighbours and friends to come back to your house afterwards.
  2. On Monday 24th Dec at 8:30pm we have a FREE fireworks display. Invite the family to come back and see it with you.
  3. Invite your neighbours and friends to come to Church on the 30th Dec as we start a new sermon series, week one, “Start the Year with a Clean Slate” (preaching on how Jesus removes our sin). The free family photos will be available to pick up after the 10am or 7:15pm Services. Offer them a lift to & from the Service & make them feel comfortable.
  4. Invite your neighbours and friends along to a ministry that they would be interested in and go along with them.
  5. Most importantly, PRAY that God will pour out His love on them this Christmas.
