Connecting This Christmas

Getting close to the un-churched people in our lives, listening and building bridges for the gospel is the primary way we can let our “light shine”. Our church is concentrating on 2 main ways of achieving that this Christmas.

Our Young Adults Group “XL” Are Carolling

XL have come up with a great idea of bringing some Christmas cheer to your neighbourhood by organising groups of young adults to come & sing Christmas Carols.

So how does it work?

  1. Book the Carollers through the Church Office.
  2. Distribute some invites to your neighbours & those in your street.
  3. Organise some light refreshments.
  4. Join in the fun and singing with your neighbours.

XL Carollers available 7pm on

  • Mon. 17Th December
  • Wed. 19Th December
  • Fri. 21St December
  • Sat. 22Nd December

Carnivale Christmas

We have concentrated our Christmas outreach in 2007. In combing the outdoor carols, the real experience and the special outreach Christmas Eve Services, we are aiming to provide a dynamic experience for the people of our community.

Our aim is to relevantly present Jesus in a way that your neighbours, family and friends will understand the real meaning of Christmas in the midst of a great family celebration.

Make sure you set aside either

  • Monday 24Th December

It’s Not Personal?

As we explore the truths of 1 Corinthians 10 we will be encouraged to participate in Christ. The picture of 1 Corinthians (and the whole Bible) is that the symbols, services and ceremonies are to be enjoyed by the people of God as a group, as a family.

We should remember Christ as we eat the bread and drink the wine together. It is to be a powerful expression of unity in the sacrifice of Christ.
