People are looking for answers that work.
Paul’s book of Romans is a great manifesto of Christianity. He outlines the gospel of salvation, our need for forgiveness and the fact that for those in Christ there is no condemnation.
By Romans 12-13 Paul encourages Christians to live decently. Our actions are the test of the sincerity of our faith.
Therefore we are to be a people who:
Set aside the “deeds of darkness”
Put on the “armour of light”.
We need to repent our wrongs
We should not be surprised when there are consequences for our actions.
We should show mercy and give to those who repent
In essence “we clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ”
