When we look back at the lives of Jesus’ first disciples, we see many occasions where only God could have achieved the things that occurred.  When we think back through our own lives, there are no doubt times, when only God could have brought about the circumstances.

  • ­ Transformed lives, ­
  • Answered prayers, ­
  • Changed circumstances and ­
  • Unexplained blessings

are all examples of only God being at work.

Romans 1:20 makes it clear that the proper response to the things God does, is to acknowledge His power and majesty and to glorify Him and give Him thanks.

On Saturday night, 26th February, we are assembling as a community to glorify God and give Him thanks for all the things He has done for us.  It is a great truth in our world and our lives that God is the only and ultimate life force.

Plan to be at the upper level of Dapto Mall to enjoy a delicious roast dinner with dessert as we celebrate those things that are only possible through God.  The meal will be great value at $20 per adult, $10 for school-age children and a maximum of $60 per family (because this is something we believe everyone in our community can be part of, don’t let cost prevent you from attending, as Stephen has some sponsorship available).

This is one of those moments, in our church’s life, where we recognise what only God can do!
