How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!! (Romans 10:15)
Our Easter at the Lake Celebration is focused on the theme of ‘Rescue’.
We will be honouring members of our community’s Emergency Services.
Stephen will be speaking about how Jesus is the ultimate rescuer.
Please have beautiful feet and pass on today’s invite.
Our church is also intending to have beautiful feet in ongoing ministries. We will be continuing last year’s practice of delivering an Easter bag or basket to DAC contacts. We want to extend this outreach and have an ongoing visitation and support program. We are aiming to develop a ‘Welcome to Dapto” bag of goodies for delivery to people moving into our area. We also are endeavouring to secure food donations form the Mall which can be distributed on an adopt a block/family basis.
If you want to get your feet moving in this life transforming way…
please indicate on the insert in today’s bulletin.

When: Thursday 21st April 7pm at St. Aidan’s. Cost: Free.
RSVP to Jimbo Mobbs, Nigel Dixon, John Eagleton, Paul Litchfield, Mick Quick, Vince Allon, Spencer Green or the office.
A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity to Stand Up
Confirmation 2011
On Sunday, 28th August 2011, Bishop Peter Hayward will be conducting our first Confirmation Service in the new Auditorium.
Confirmation is a chance to stand before your church, family and friends, and declare your allegiance to Christ.
Confirmation is the opportunity our church provides for people baptised as infants, or many years ago, to publically ‘confirm’ the baptism promises. A candidate declares that they; “turn to Christ”.
We also have the opportunity for people who wish to publically declare their membership of the Anglican Church to be ‘received’ by the Bishop.
Preparation classes will occur between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday evenings. Other preparation times may be available should there be the need.
- Please indicate your interest with Stephen Semenchuk or Pete Gold by Easter as the preparation will begin in May.
